Hello! I’m Paige from Mr. Lunds class. We really enjoyed every thing you sent us. I hope we will see you sometime soon. Bye
Paige
Hi paige nice of you to visit and thanks we enjoyed doing the reviews and posters for you. My reading club cannot wait to skype with you too!
I hope we Skype soon. It’s so cool that we can connect globally. Think about how much technology has improved over the years. What do you think the greatest invention was? And thanks for the bookmarks and books.
Hi mason,
you are most welcome
the greatest invention mmmmmm it is too easy to say a computer so I choose penicilin…what do you think is the greatest? and why do you think I chose penicilin?
The history of penicillin is very interesting. We found out that Alexander Fleming rediscovered it in London in 1928. Penicillin is used as an antibotic to treat fevers and infections. We’re guessing that you think it is very important because it helps people live longer and overcome sicknesses! Of course, it could be that it was discovered in your home country of England!
We think technologies that fit in the palm of your hand are the most important inventions. Just think, we have cell phones, iPods, handheld video games, medicial devices like pacemakers, and GPS units that can be easily carried around with us! They are portable, help with communication, provide entertainment, and save lives!
Visit our blog soon to find a poll question about this topic!
-Mr. Lund and class
I’m alergic to penicillin so I don’t think that’s the greatest invention. I think handheld games are the greatest invention becuase you can take them anywhere.
@ Mr Lund…actually the reason I think it is one of the greatest invention is because can you imagine the thought processes a scientist would have to have in order to think it and then test it and the knowledge required and it is for the good of humanity.
Handheld technology is good but you know that all micro chip technology is derivitive…that is it is just getting smaller, the original technological thoughts are the same, the looks and sounds may change but essentially it is microchip technology ….and the sony walkman would probably be the hybrid technology here…..and any technology based on energy is only as valuable as the source of energy it uses….without electricity what is any of it but dead battery cells ?….
Great inventions for me must involve great thinking and most contribute to humanity…..
I think a greatest inventions post is a super idea…..
Hello, thank you for commenting on my blog. I appreciate it. I love when I get comments. I remember when I was younger I would love being in reading groups and having reading buddies. Hmm… I wonder why I love reading so much now. I love to read so much, it is one of my favorite things to do. I don’t know what I would without reading and books because they give me more knowledge and it lets my mind wander and I just really enjoy reading very much. A lot of my friends actually think that I am crazy because I like to read, because apparently reading doesn’t appeal to them. Anyway talk to you soon.

It’s Mason, and Mr.Lund’s class just finished Friend or Foe.It was a great book and it had a great ending. But our class was wondering if this story was true or not.
Maybe Our School can do somthing for world book day currently I am reading the book called Elijah Of Buxton. Visit my site http://www.tim110gs.edublogs.org/
A book series I just finished reading is “Children of the Lamp”. A book of magic takes you around the world with John and Phillip Grant two Djinn in many adventures. From saving their mom to hiding in a old deep well, this is a high flying adventure.
Well schools out at GIS and we didn’t get to Skype, our class was really sad about that. I hope you have a great summer.
